Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring learning continues effectively. You will manage classroom behaviour, support students’ engagement, and provide feedback to teaching staff as required. This role is key to maintaining a productive and safe learning environment across the school.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise lessons according to existing plans, ensuring students stay focused and engaged.
- Maintain classroom behaviour and support a positive learning environment.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement, behaviour, and learning.
- Support students with tasks or activities as instructed by teachers.
- Adapt to different classrooms, year groups, and subject areas as required.
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns regarding student welfare or behaviour.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a classroom or school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage groups of students and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Organised, reliable, and flexible to adapt to varying teaching needs.
- A proactive and professional approach to supervising and supporting students.
