About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support students in the classroom, deliver targeted interventions, and promote a positive learning environment. You will provide both one-to-one and small group support, helping students to engage fully with their education and develop essential skills.
Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons across the curriculum.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional assistance.
• Assist in implementing tailored learning strategies to meet individual needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Support students’ social and emotional development alongside academic growth.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting learners.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
