About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that support students of varying abilities. You will play a key role in fostering problem-solving skills, building confidence in numeracy, and ensuring measurable academic progress.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students across Key Stages.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs within the classroom.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Maintain a positive and structured learning environment through effective classroom management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice.
• Keep accurate records of student attainment, attendance, and behaviour.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3/4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
