Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a passionate RE Teacher to work in schools across the S65 and S66 areas of Rotherham.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking, reflection, and discussion on a variety of religious and ethical topics.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver RE lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Promote understanding, respect, and curiosity about different beliefs.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support whole-school initiatives related to RE and cultural awareness.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
