About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. This role offers flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to gain experience across different year groups and settings.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with school policies and existing lesson plans.
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment that supports learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners.
• Provide clear feedback to permanent staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
• Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and confidence teaching across year groups.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
• A positive and professional approach to supporting student learning.
