Salary: £460 - £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning and follow pre-set lesson plans. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of education while upholding the school’s behaviour policies and standards.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise classes across a range of subjects using provided lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and complete set work.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies, maintaining a calm and focused learning environment.
• Provide clear instructions and support to students where required, promoting understanding and engagement.
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress, behaviour, and any issues that arise during lessons.
• Support the wider school team in maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Adapt confidently to different subjects, age groups, and classroom settings as required.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence in leading a classroom independently.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and organised approach to supporting student learning.
