Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Support pupils with special educational needs and help them achieve their full potential.
GSL Education are delighted to recruit a committed SEN Teacher for a school in the WF4 area of Wakefield.
As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons, provide structured support, and adapt teaching approaches to meet individual pupil needs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised lessons for pupils with SEN in line with the curriculum.
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to support pupils.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a SEN Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
