Job Title: Pastoral Manager
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are inviting applications for a Pastoral Manager to work with a school in Wakefield (WF4), supporting learners’ social, emotional, and behavioural development. This is an opportunity to play a key role in creating a nurturing and supportive school culture.
Responsibilities of Pastoral Manager:
- Overseeing learner wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance
- Providing one-to-one guidance and mentoring for pupils
- Supporting the implementation of pastoral programmes and initiatives
- Collaborating with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure learners are supported
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
Requirements of Pastoral Manager:
- Experience in pastoral care, mentoring, or student support
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with learners
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
