Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Provide targeted support to help pupils reach their full potential.

GSL Education are excited to recruit an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a school in the WF4 area of Wakefield.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with individual pupils, supporting their learning, personal development, and confidence in the classroom.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 support tailored to pupils’ individual needs.
  • Assist in implementing learning plans and monitoring progress.
  • Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence.
  • Support teachers in managing classroom activities effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide feedback on pupil development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow school policies and work collaboratively with staff.
  • Good level of spoken and written English.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
