GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join a thriving Stockton school. This role goes beyond textbooks and classroom routines—it’s an opportunity to create hands‑on learning experiences, build scientific confidence, and introduce students to the excitement of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
What You’ll Do as a Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver stimulating lessons that make scientific ideas accessible and engaging.
- Teach across Key Stages Science.
- Guide students in developing strong practical, analytical, and investigative skills.
- Build an inclusive classroom environment that encourages questioning and exploration.
- Use demonstrations, experiments, and real‑world examples to deepen understanding.
- Contribute creative input to the Science curriculum and extracurricular STEM activities.
What We’re Looking for in a Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science within a school environment.
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to inspiring learners of all abilities.
- Effective communication, planning, and classroom management skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
