Maths Teacher
Location: Sherburn
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Start Date: Easter 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join a secondary school near the Sherburn area from Easter 2026.
About the School
This secondary setting maintains high expectations for behaviour and academic progress. The Maths department works collaboratively to ensure pupils develop confidence, reasoning skills and strong examination outcomes.
Responsibilities

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4

Plan structured and differentiated lessons

Prepare pupils for GCSE assessments

Track attainment and implement intervention strategies

Uphold school safeguarding policies
Requirements
-
QTS with Maths specialism

Experience teaching secondary Maths

Strong classroom management skills

Dedication to pupil progress
