Primary Teacher
Location: York
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time (Maternity Cover)
Start Date: April 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a committed Primary Teacher (Upper Key Stage 2) for a full time maternity cover position starting in April 2026.

Responsibilities

Deliver the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum

Plan differentiated lessons to meet diverse needs

Monitor and assess pupil progress

Work closely with support staff and SEN professionals

Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding
Requirements
-
QTS with primary specialism

Experience teaching in Upper KS2

Understanding of SEN or SEMH needs

Strong classroom management skills
