Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help students find their voice through literature, language, and thoughtful discussion in an engaging classroom setting.
GSL Education are inviting applications for a committed English Teacher to join schools in Rotherham, working across the S65 and S66 areas. The English Teacher will deliver lessons that build confidence in reading, writing, and spoken communication for learners of all abilities.
Main Responsibilities of English Teacher:
- Plan and deliver structured lessons in line with the English curriculum.
- Encourage critical thinking through texts, discussion, and analysis.
- Support students in developing strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and high expectations for behaviour.
- Assess progress and provide constructive, supportive feedback.
Requirements of English Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Experience teaching English in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
