Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking reliable Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Rotherham, covering the S65 and S66 areas. In this role, the Cover Supervisor (CS) will oversee pre-set lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure a calm learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes using the work provided by teaching staff.
- Maintain positive behaviour and a productive classroom atmosphere.
- Provide clear instructions and support students with their tasks.
- Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting as Cover Supervisor.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Confidence to lead a classroom independently.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
