Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a committed History Teacher to work within a well-regarded school setting in Sheffield, serving the S35 area.
In this role, the History Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, discussion, and critical thinking. You will guide learners through key historical themes, support their understanding of sources and interpretations, and contribute positively to the wider humanities provision.
Your contribution:
- Plan and deliver well-structured History lessons
- Encourage analytical thinking and class discussion
- Assess, monitor, and support learner progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive learning atmosphere
- Uphold high expectations for behaviour and engagement
Ideal background of History Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent experience teaching History in a UK school setting
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A genuine interest in promoting historical understanding
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
