EYFS SEN Teacher – SEND School – Barking
Daily Rate: £150–£210
Full‑Time | Long‑Term Position
Are you a passionate EYFS Teacher with experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs?
A well‑respected SEND school in the Barking area is seeking a dedicated and nurturing EYFS SEN Teacher to join their team on a long‑term basis.
The Role
We are looking for a committed teacher who can:
- Deliver creative, play‑based learning tailored to children with diverse and complex needs
- Create a safe, inspiring early years environment designed to promote communication, engagement and independence
- Work closely with support staff, therapists and parents to ensure every child receives the best possible start
- Differentiate lessons effectively to meet a range of learning needs, including ASD, MLD, SLD and speech & language delays
- Use a range of sensory approaches and structured routines to support pupil progress
Ideal Candidate
You will need to have:
- QTS or equivalent early years teaching qualification
- Experience within EYFS and/or SEND settings
- Strong understanding of child‑centred and sensory‑based teaching approaches
- A calm, positive and patient nature
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
