EYFS SEN Teacher – SEND School – Barking

Daily Rate: £150–£210
Full‑Time | Long‑Term Position

Are you a passionate EYFS Teacher with experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs?
A well‑respected SEND school in the Barking area is seeking a dedicated and nurturing EYFS SEN Teacher to join their team on a long‑term basis.

The Role

We are looking for a committed teacher who can:

  • Deliver creative, play‑based learning tailored to children with diverse and complex needs
  • Create a safe, inspiring early years environment designed to promote communication, engagement and independence
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists and parents to ensure every child receives the best possible start
  • Differentiate lessons effectively to meet a range of learning needs, including ASD, MLD, SLD and speech & language delays
  • Use a range of sensory approaches and structured routines to support pupil progress

Ideal Candidate

You will need to have:

  • QTS or equivalent early years teaching qualification
  • Experience within EYFS and/or SEND settings
  • Strong understanding of child‑centred and sensory‑based teaching approaches
  • A calm, positive and patient nature
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
