Job Title: Creative Teaching Assistant
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary Range: £90 – £115 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to be recruiting a Creative Teaching Assistant for a welcoming school in Middlesbrough. This role offers a daily rate of £90–£115, depending on experience, and is perfect for someone who wants to bring energy, imagination, and creative flair into the classroom.
Key Responsibilities of a Creative Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Support the delivery of creative, engaging, and inclusive lessons across the curriculum.
- Encourage pupils to explore their imagination through art, drama, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
- Assist the class teacher in preparing creative resources and classroom materials.
- Promote confidence, self-expression, and positive learning behaviours in pupils.
- Work closely with children of varying abilities, offering tailored support where needed.
- Contribute to school arts projects, displays, performances, and extra-curricular clubs.
Job Requirements for Creative Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Experience supporting children or young people in a creative or educational environment.
- A strong understanding of creative learning and its benefits for child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire pupils through engaging activities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
