Maths Teacher
Location: Selby
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a committed Maths Teacher to support pupils in a secondary school in Selby. This role is ideal for a teacher who can build confidence and achievement in mathematics across all ability levels.

Maths Teacher Responsibilities

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4

Deliver lessons that promote reasoning and problem-solving

Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations

Monitor and track pupil progress

Contribute to departmental planning and development
Requirements

QTS with a Maths specialism

Experience teaching in a secondary setting

Strong curriculum knowledge

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
