Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time
Are you a passionate and driven Maths Teacher ready to inspire confidence and achievement in mathematics?
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S11), delivering engaging and effective lessons across key stages 3, 4 and 5.
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will support students in developing strong numerical, problem-solving, and analytical skills while preparing them for internal assessments and GCSE examinations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver structured and engaging Maths lessons across key stages 3, 4 and 5
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and assessments
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental collaboration
Mathematics Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Experience as a Maths Teacher is desirable
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
