Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to appoint a committed RE Teacher for schools across the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley.
As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that explore world religions, moral values, and critical thinking, encouraging pupils to reflect and discuss respectfully.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver RE lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Promote discussion, understanding, and respect for diverse beliefs.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support wider school initiatives and assemblies related to RE.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
