Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering engaging lessons that develop computational thinking, programming skills, and digital literacy.

As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will create interactive lessons that encourage problem-solving, creativity, and confidence with technology.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging computing lessons as a Computer Science Teacher.
  • Teach programming, algorithms, and key digital concepts.
  • Encourage logical thinking, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching computing or computer science in a school setting.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
