Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to recruit a talented Drama Teacher for schools across the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley.
As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ performance skills, teamwork, and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver drama lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence in performance.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support school performances and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Drama Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
