About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver lessons following existing plans, manage classroom behaviour, and support students’ learning across different subjects and key stages. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity and providing a positive learning environment during staff absence.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver prepared lessons effectively across a range of subjects and age groups.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, focused learning environment.
• Support student engagement, participation, and progress.
• Follow lesson plans and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Provide constructive feedback to permanent teaching staff on lesson delivery and student outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share good practice and support school routines.
• Keep accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and performance.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students across multiple subjects and abilities.
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering lessons at short notice.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
