Salary: Up to £220 Per day
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a SEMH Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons and providing pastoral support to students. You will use tailored strategies to engage learners, monitor progress, and help students develop socially, emotionally, and academically.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEMH requirements.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages trust, participation, and positive behaviour.
- Collaborate with staff, including teaching assistants and SEN specialists, to provide comprehensive support.
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback.
- Implement personalised strategies and interventions to address behavioural and learning needs.
- Support students’ social and emotional development alongside academic learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt lessons and strategies to individual student requirements.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to supporting students.
