About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver stimulating lessons that develop students’ knowledge, skills, and understanding of the subject. You will encourage engagement, critical thinking, and practical application of Geography concepts, supporting students to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons tailored to a range of abilities.
• Encourage curiosity and critical thinking through practical and interactive activities.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual student needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop teaching materials.
• Maintain accurate records of student attainment, attendance, and behaviour.

Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
• Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3/4 is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and teaching.
