Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students’ learning, development, and well-being. You will help implement tailored strategies, provide one-to-one or small group support, and contribute to a nurturing classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Implement personalised learning plans and support strategies tailored to individual students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters trust and engagement.
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining classroom organisation.
- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report observations to teachers.
- Provide practical assistance with personal care, where required, maintaining dignity and respect.
- Encourage students to participate fully in learning activities and develop independence.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Understanding of SEN conditions and evidence-based support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the varying needs of students.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting learners.
