About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring a productive and safe learning environment. You will support student engagement, follow lesson plans, and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classrooms and maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
- Deliver lessons and activities as planned by the class teacher.
- Monitor student behaviour and implement school policies effectively.
- Support students to engage with learning and achieve their potential.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student participation and progress.
- Adapt to different classes, subjects, and student needs as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a school or classroom setting preferred.
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students across various age groups.
- Reliable, adaptable, and confident in handling a range of classroom scenarios.
