About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and provide targeted assistance to students who require additional guidance. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive classroom environment and helping learners build confidence, independence, and resilience.

Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the curriculum.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and close gaps in understanding.
• Assist in preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment.
• Promote positive behaviour and support the school’s behaviour management policies.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Encourage student participation, motivation, and confidence within lessons.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting is desirable.
• A good understanding of classroom practices and safeguarding procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
