Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant with a secondary focus, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to provide in-class and small-group support. You will help remove barriers to learning, promote engagement, and encourage students to develop confidence in their abilities.
Responsibilities:
• Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with their academic learning and classroom engagement.
• Provide one-to-one and small group interventions tailored to individual learning needs.
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a focused learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social development among students.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students in a school or similar setting is preferred.
• Understanding of additional learning needs, including SEN or SEMH, is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A patient, proactive, and supportive approach to learning support.
