Salary: £460 - £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain engaged with pre-set work. You will play a key role in maintaining behaviour standards and supporting a productive classroom environment across a range of subjects and year groups.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise classes across different subjects, ensuring students remain on task with the work provided.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, maintaining a positive and focused learning environment.
• Provide clear instructions and support to students where required.
• Report back to teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
• Support the wider school community with additional duties when necessary.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere at all times.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence in leading a classroom and engaging students effectively.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and classroom environments.
• A proactive and professional approach to supporting learning.
