About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will support the delivery of high-quality PE lessons, extracurricular sports activities, and intervention sessions. You will play a vital role in encouraging participation, promoting healthy lifestyles, and fostering teamwork across different age groups.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging PE lessons and structured sports sessions that promote skill development and active participation.
• Support students of varying abilities, adapting activities to ensure inclusivity and progression.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behaviour both inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist in organising extracurricular clubs, competitions, and school sporting events.
• Work closely with teaching staff to support students’ overall development and well-being.
• Maintain a safe environment by following safeguarding and health and safety policies.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a Sports Coach, PE Assistant, or in a similar role within a school or youth setting.
• Relevant sports coaching qualifications or a background in physical education (desirable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and professional approach.
