Role: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Enfield
Pay Rate: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

This position is perfect for someone with experience in behaviour support who is passionate about helping students regulate, engage, and succeed—whether you’re seeking flexible day-to-day work or a longer-term placement.

Key Responsibilities of a Behaviour Mentor:

  • Provide tailored behaviour support to individual pupils or small groups.
  • Help students develop positive behaviour strategies, self-regulation, and resilience.
  • Work closely with class teachers, pastoral teams, and SEN staff to implement support plans.
  • Actively contribute to a safe, calm, and inclusive school environment.
  • Follow school policies and always maintain professional standards.

Requirements for Behaviour Mentor:

  • Previous experience supporting behaviour needs in a school or youth setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.
  • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
  • Confident supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A good level of spoken and written English.
