Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a PE Teacher to support schools in the Sheffield (S5, S9) area, delivering dynamic lessons that encourage participation, fitness, and confidence in sport.

In this role, the Physical Education (PE) Teacher will plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons that help pupils develop physical skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards health and wellbeing.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver structured PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage participation, teamwork, and fair play.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and active learning environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support wider school sports initiatives.

Requirements of PE Teacher:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
