Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to appoint a dedicated Computer Science Teacher for schools across the S5 and S9 areas of Sheffield.

As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop problem-solving, coding knowledge, and confidence with technology.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver computer science lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage logical thinking and practical application of digital skills.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support pupils in developing safe and responsible use of technology.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
