Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are inviting applications from dynamic MFL Teachers to work in welcoming schools across Barnsley (S70, S71). This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver engaging language lessons that encourage curiosity, cultural awareness, and real-world communication skills.
In this role, the Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher will create an interactive learning environment where students feel motivated to practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing in a modern foreign language, regardless of their starting point.
Responsibilities of MFL Teacher:
- Plan and deliver stimulating lessons in line with the MFL curriculum.
- Encourage active participation and spoken language practice.
- Create a positive classroom environment that supports confidence in learning.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.
Requirements of MFL Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Previous experience teaching a modern foreign language in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for promoting cultural understanding through language learning.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
