Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications from enthusiastic Art Teachers to join schools located in Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering engaging and meaningful lessons that encourage artistic confidence and skill development.
In this role, the Art Teacher will deliver lessons that nurture creativity, develop practical techniques, and help students of all abilities express themselves in a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-planned lessons in line with the art curriculum.
- Encourage creativity through a range of artistic mediums and techniques.
- Maintain positive behaviour and high standards for learning.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school objectives.
Requirements of Art Teacher:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or another recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as an Art Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
