Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), inspiring pupils through hands-on learning and technical skill development.

As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage problem-solving, creativity, and practical application of knowledge.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Encourage pupils to develop technical, creative, and design skills.
  • Create a safe and stimulating workshop environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues as a Design Technology Teacher.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Design Technology in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Design Technology Teacher to inspire pupils across Barnsley.
