Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are searching for a Maths Teacher to work with schools across Sheffield, particularly within the S5 and S9 areas, delivering lessons that strengthen numeracy, reasoning, and analytical thinking.
In this role, the Mathematics Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge pupils, encourage logical thinking, and support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver structured lessons in line with the mathematics curriculum.
- Support pupils in developing problem-solving, reasoning, and numeracy skills.
- Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning atmosphere.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school objectives.
Requirements of Maths Teacher:
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
