Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are proud to appoint a passionate English Teacher for schools in Barnsley’s S70 and S71 districts.
As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that enhance pupils’ reading, writing, and analytical skills while fostering a love of language.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver English lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and discussion.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support literacy initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as an English Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
