Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: Malton area
Pay Rate: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work within a secondary SEMH provision in the Malton area, supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour and require consistent adult guidance.

Behaviour Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

Support pupils with behavioural challenges

Assist with behaviour management strategies

Promote positive conduct and engagement

Support pupils during lessons and transitions

Maintain a safe and structured learning environment
Requirements

Experience in behaviour or SEMH support

Understanding of behaviour management strategies

Confident and calm approach

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
