Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are searching for a knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to support schools across Sheffield, with opportunities available in the S2 and S3 districts. You will deliver engaging lessons that foster problem‑solving and strengthen pupils’ computational thinking.

As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will create an interactive learning environment where pupils gain confidence in programming, data handling, and digital literacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver innovative lessons as a Computer Science Teacher.
  • Teach programming, algorithms, and key computing concepts.
  • Encourage logical thinking and creativity in technology use.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching computing or computer science in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
