Maths Teacher (QTS) – Specialist SEN School
Location: Tameside
Start Date: After February Half Term
Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Temp to Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

GSL Education Manchester is working in partnership with a specialist SEN secondary school in Tameside, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. This school provides a calm, well-structured environment with small class sizes, high levels of support, and a strong emphasis on consistency and routine.
This permanent role offers the opportunity to teach Maths in a setting where you can genuinely make a difference to pupils who benefit from a personalised approach to learning.
About the Role:

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 within a specialist SEN setting

Adapt the curriculum to meet individual learning and behavioural needs

Work closely with Teaching Assistants and pastoral staff

Build confidence, engagement, and numeracy skills in pupils

Contribute positively to the wider school ethos and values
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

A patient, adaptable, and reflective teaching approach

A genuine interest in SEN and inclusive education
