Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Provide structured support to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs in a nurturing setting.
GSL Education are pleased to recruit a resilient SEMH Teacher for a school based in the S25 area of Dinnington.
As a Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons while using positive behaviour strategies to create a calm and supportive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised lessons suited to pupils with SEMH needs.
- Apply effective behaviour management and emotional support techniques.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
- Work closely with pastoral teams, staff, and external agencies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a SEMH Teacher in a specialist or mainstream setting.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
