Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Help pupils build confidence in numeracy and develop strong problem-solving skills.

GSL Education are delighted to invite applications for a committed Maths Teacher to work in schools across the S2 and S3 areas of Sheffield.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that make mathematical concepts clear, accessible, and enjoyable for learners of all abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver maths lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage logical thinking and independent problem-solving.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support whole-school numeracy initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Maths Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
