Job Title: PE Support
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: 460 - 600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Encourage active learning and help pupils build confidence through physical education.

GSL Education are excited to recruit an enthusiastic PE Support professional for schools across the S2 and S3 areas of Sheffield.

In this Physical Education (PE) Support role, you will assist with sports sessions, promote participation, and help maintain a positive and energetic environment during physical activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of PE lessons and sports activities.
  • Encourage pupil participation and teamwork.
  • Help manage behaviour during practical sessions.
  • Prepare equipment and ensure safety standards are followed.
  • Assist teaching staff during lessons and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a PE Support or sports-based role within a school.
  • Energetic, proactive, and confident working with pupils.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
