About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver lessons in line with existing plans, manage classroom behaviour, and support students’ learning across multiple subjects. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring students remain engaged and motivated during staff absence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prepared lessons across various subjects and year groups.
- Maintain a safe and structured classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour.
- Support students’ engagement, learning, and academic progress.
- Follow lesson plans and school procedures to ensure consistency.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson delivery and student outcomes.
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit different classes and learning abilities.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students across a range of subjects and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering lessons at short notice.
