Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

Are you an organised and proactive Cover Supervisor looking to support students’ learning across a variety of subjects? A school in Doncaster is seeking a dedicated professional to provide classroom cover, maintain learning continuity, and ensure students remain engaged and on task.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide classroom cover across multiple subjects, manage behaviour effectively, and ensure that planned lessons are delivered smoothly. You will play a vital role in maintaining the learning environment and supporting both students and teaching staff.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned lessons and cover work across a range of subjects.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support students to remain focused, engaged, and productive.
- Follow school procedures and lesson plans to ensure continuity.
- Report on student engagement, behaviour, and any issues to teaching staff.
- Adapt to different classes and age groups as required.
- Assist teaching staff with administrative tasks and resource preparation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting preferred.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage groups of students and maintain a structured learning environment.
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident in working across different subjects.
- A professional and proactive approach to supporting student learning.
