Salary: £460 – £650 per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sports Coach to work in a school in Sheffield, supporting students’ physical development, teamwork, and confidence through engaging sports sessions and activities.

About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering engaging sports sessions, supporting PE lessons, and promoting physical activity across the school. You will work closely with teaching staff to encourage participation, develop skills, and support students’ physical and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging sports coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and abilities.
- Support PE lessons and extracurricular sports activities.
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, and positive behaviour through sport.
- Promote physical fitness, well-being, and a healthy lifestyle.
- Adapt activities to meet the needs of all students, including those requiring additional support.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support student development.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Sports Coach or in a similar role is desirable.
- A relevant sports coaching qualification or strong sporting background.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to working with young people.
