Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: Goole
Pay Rate: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work within a secondary SEMH setting in the Goole area, supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour and require consistent adult support.

Behaviour Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

Support pupils with behavioural challenges

Assist with behaviour management strategies

Encourage positive conduct and engagement

Support pupils during lessons and transitions

Maintain a safe and structured learning environment
Requirements

Experience in behaviour or SEMH support

Strong understanding of behaviour strategies

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
